Expedia, Inc. and Hotels.com(TM) today announced an agreement with Vail Resorts, Inc. to make its RockResorts luxury resorts available to the more than 30 million monthly visitors shopping on Expedia.com(R) and Hotels.com. Through this agreement, Expedia(R) and Hotels.com will further expand their inventory of luxury destinations in some of the country's top resort and ski markets.

Vail Resorts owns leading ski resorts in Colorado and California in addition to a summer resort in Grand Teton, Wyo. With this agreement, Expedia and Hotels.com customers will now have enhanced access to RockResorts properties and destination activities at 10 distinct RockResorts properties in California, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming.

"Vail Resorts has built a strong marketing relationship with Expedia and Hotels.com that offers impressive benefits to customers, such as an easy way to find information and book a complete destination experience online, including lodging and ski lift tickets alongside extras like equipment rentals and ground transportation," said Ed Mace, President, Vail Resorts Lodging Company and President of RockResorts. "We are pleased to extend that whole trip experience to our RockResorts customers and to introduce Expedia and Hotels.com customers to some of the most unique luxury resorts in the country."

"By working together with a range of hotels and resorts to build year-round package and destination service offerings, Expedia and Hotels.com can provide the nearly 30 million visitors to our sites incredible vacation options, and in doing so, we also provide a powerful marketing advantage to our hotel partners."
