Expedia, Inc.'s WWTE(TM) and Aloha Airlines announced an expanded relationship enabling travelers to book complete vacations on the Aloha Airlines Web site. Aloha Airlines customers, who previously were able to reserve hotels and car rentals using WWTE technology, can now build customized vacation packages to all Aloha destinations on alohaairlines.com.
"Aloha Airlines is always looking at new methods to expand product offerings and services to our valued customers," said Randy Laser, vice president, pricing, revenue management and crc at Aloha Airlines. "Building off an already successful partnership with Expedia(R), the availability of vacation packages on alohaair.com supports our continued efforts to provide customers with the best solutions to enhance their overall travel experience."
Aloha offers daily nonstops between Hawaii and California, Nevada, Arizona and Vancouver, Canada, and service to the Central and South Pacific. Honolulu-based Aloha has been introducing innovations in the inter-island market for 58 years. The agreement with Expedia's WWTE demonstrates Aloha's continued focus on utilizing advanced technology to drive its Web site strategy.
"Our partnership with Aloha Airlines has been strong since day one, and this agreement shows the relationship continues to prosper and grow," said Barney Harford, vice president of air, car and private label at Expedia, Inc. "WWTE technology provides Aloha Airlines with the products and services to meet the needs of the airline's growing customer base at a fraction of the cost to developing this technology independently."
